Includes:; different colourings divots veins rustic edges & movement in the marble. The boards are resistant to heat but sadly not stains like with most other serving products if heavy staining products such as tea bags red wine red sauces turmeric (spices) etc. are left on for a period of time they may cause staining. Providing spills are wiped up in a reasonable time frame they will not cause a lasting stain. You may use light knife work on the boards but as with any other product over a period of time there may be marks from cutting. Putting your platter in direct sunlight for long periods of time may cause discolouring or changes to the marble.
